Many customers wonder the difference between XD integrated crawler DTH rig and XDQ split-type pneumatic DTH rig. They target different application scenarios.
XD Integrated Crawler-Mounted DTH Rig Self-contained unit with built-in diesel power, crawler chassis and integrated dust collector. Advantages: self-propelled, fast relocation, no external air compressor required, high drilling efficiency, built-in dust suppression. Ideal for medium-large quarries, open-pit mines and concentrated jobsites with environmental requirements. Higher initial investment.
XDQ Split-Type Pneumatic DTH Rig Modular split design, powered by external air compressor. Advantages: light-weight, manually disassembled and transported to steep slopes and confined sites inaccessible for vehicles; lower purchasing cost. Disadvantages: separate air compressor needed, no on-board dust collector. Best suited for mountain slope stabilization and scattered small jobs.
