At a rural road construction site, the Xingda XDH-180 crawler DTH drill rig is carrying out drilling operations. The XDH-180 is a diesel-hydraulic mini crawler DTH drill rig. Weighing only 1000 kg with compact dimensions of 2.0×1.1×1.6 m, it is perfectly built for confined-space jobs, including rural highways, municipal roads and expressway lane-closure maintenance. Its low-ground-pressure crawler chassis travels directly on asphalt and concrete pavement without surface damage, cutting pre-construction protection work and post-project pavement repair costs.

Powered by a 32 HP diesel engine and driven by hydraulic motor, the rig delivers drilling diameters from 75 mm to 250 mm and reaches a maximum drilling depth of 50 m. Drilling angle is adjustable from 25° to 90°, and it efficiently works on rock hardness F=6-20. It can drill grouting holes, anchor bolt holes and monitoring holes. It is widely used for provincial-highway defect treatment, expressway subgrade settlement reinforcement, rural road foundation improvement and slope anchoring projects.

Simple to operate and highly reliable, the hydraulic system works at rated pressure of 14 MPa for steady long-term output with low failure rate during continuous field operation. It can be transported by small vehicles for fast site-to-site relocation.
